Overview
ECS is an outpatient Mental Health Rehabilitation (MHR) agency. We provide therapeutic in-home and community-based support services that are medically necessary for children, adolescents, and adults with mental health disorders. We administer a comprehensive program of therapeutic support, case management, and education for all recipients. Our services help reduce symptoms resulting from mental illness and help restore our recipients to their best possible functional levels.
Our Mission
We care and believe that all individuals should receive the necessary "personal care" in order to live in their homes and communities that lead to the formation of compassion, commitment, and conscience, avoiding out-of-home displacements, through services offered at Essential Care Services LLC. Licensed practitioners and professionals provide our outpatient services. ECS is contracted with Louisiana Office of Behavioral Health under the Louisiana Behavioral Health Partnership (LBHP). The Louisiana Behavioral Health Partnership is a managed care initiative organizing services across agencies, under the management of a single statewide management organization, Bayou Health Plans of Louisiana of Louisiana.
